About the Event

Do you long to reclaim a lost sense of vitality? Do you crave life-giving contact with the roots of your being? Do you ever feel called by a mysterious voice at the edge of your awareness? Are you ever haunted by the sense that something - enchanting, nourishing, life-giving - is missing? Do you hunger for story, for hope, for spirit? Maybe you thirst for the power of the WILD FEMININE.

This day retreat at beautiful Mavens' Haven in Lucile will help quench your soul's longing. During a lovely spring day spent mostly outdoors, we will explore women’s history (and new research on women in pre-history), women’s stories, the roles of women in myth and folklore, women and nature, women’s spirituality, women and power, and women in community. Our work - together and in solo moments - will be to slow down, nurture mythic mind and imagination, sync ourselves to Earth’s rhythms, define what it means to live “untamed” lives, and reconnect with our rich feminine heritage as well as our personal authentic centers.

Lovely Mavens’ Haven in Lucile, Idaho, offers a quiet refuge nestled on the banks of the wild Salmon River, overflowing with life and inspiration. This day retreat will include a combination of nature immersion, group and individual activities, discussion, periods of shared silence, and supportive guided meditations. Delicious and simple vegetarian lunch and dinner will feed your body, and an optional sauna session will offer a cleansing way to finish the day.

Overnight lodging options are available as well, at additional cost through direct payment to Mavens' Haven. Please contact me if you have questions regarding this option.
