R & R for Caregivers: A Nourishing 1-Day Retreat

Caregivers, more than any of us, need regular and deep doses of soul and body nourishment. If you are a caregiver, your cup most likely feels empty more often than full or overflowing. This state of consistent insufficient nourishment takes     a heavy toll. This toll not only depletes caregivers, but leaves those they care for vulnerable as well, and - ultimately - we all suffer as a community. 

Caregivers - this retreat has been designed specifically to fill your empty cups! I know you are busy saving the world and have little time to spare - but please consider investing in this ONE day of self nourishment.

Spend the whole day relaxing and resting within the slow pace and beautiful natural setting of Mavens’ Haven in lovely Lucile. You will be nourished not only by the wild Salmon River and hills of the canyon, but also by gentle togetherness; by opportunities to reflect, share, and ask for what you need; by guided meditations and deep relaxation; by a bit of outdoor time; by some “right brain” activities to give your logistical side a break; and by simple nourishing meals.     

This retreat is open to therapists, healthcare professionals, first responders, teachers, elder care workers, childcare workers, and others who consider themselves full-time caregivers.
